On July 21, with the traction of the last phase conductor in the 3r003-3r012 section of Yuxian County, Zhangjiakou City, the whole line of Zhangbei xiong’an 1000 kV AC transmission and transformation project (northern Hebei Section) was completed. So far, Zhangbei xiong’an 1000 kV high voltage AC power transmission and transformation project has been completed. Previously, the Zhangbei xiong’an 1000 kV high voltage AC transmission and transformation project (Hebei Section) was completed on July 18.
The line of Zhangbei xiong’an 1000 kV high voltage AC transmission and transformation project is 2 × 319.9 km long. It starts from Zhangjiakou Zhangbei UHV substation and ends at Baoding xiong’an UHV substation. It passes through Zhangjiakou Zhangbei County, Wanquan District, Huai’an County, Yangyuan County, Wei county and Baoding Laiyuan County, Yi County, Xushui District and Dingxing county. The northern Hebei section of the project is 2 × 218km long, of which 2 × 132 km is built in double circuit with the same tower, the rest 2 × 86km is set up in parallel with two single circuits, 558 new towers are built; and 234 towers are built in Hebei section of the project.
Since the construction of the project was officially started in March 2019, under the overall planning of the ultra high voltage Department of State Grid Corporation of China, the construction and management units of State Grid Jibei Electric Power Co., Ltd. and State Grid Hebei Electric Power Co., Ltd. have overcome difficulties such as high construction difficulty, short effective construction period, high epidemic prevention and control pressure, and coordinate with local governments and participating units to deal with various problems in construction in a timely manner to ensure the construction of the project Cheng was successful.
As an important part of the UHV power grid in North China and a key power grid project in the “new infrastructure” project of State Grid Corporation of China, zhangbei-xiong’an 1000 kV high-voltage AC transmission and transformation project relies on long-distance and large-capacity UHV AC transmission technology to transmit abundant and clean electric energy in Zhangjiakou area to the load center of xiong’an new area, so as to avoid aggravating Beijing 500 After the completion and operation of the kV ring network, more than 7 billion kwh of clean energy will be delivered to xiong’an new area every year, which will provide 100% clean energy for xiong’an new area.
