Our lifestyle, work style and social style have been digitally reshaped to varying degrees. In addition to witnessing that video dialogue has replaced flight meetings, live video with goods has become the mainstream of consumption mode, we have also experienced 5g speed and seen more scenes of AI landing, etc.
2020 is a year of intensive knowledge points, which is difficult to summarize with oneortwo keywords, but all kinds of signs show that we are entering the transformation entrance of the digital society.
The biggest feature of the digital society is that data is an extremely important factor of production and productivity engine. By sharing data in the whole industrial chain, the whole industry has changed from a linear structure to a network structure. As the core technology of digitalization in all walks of life, chip is the cornerstone of building a digital society. Therefore, the industrial digital upgrading of each industry has opened a new development window for the chip industry.
As an important enabling capacity of digitalization in all walks of life, we chipmakers should first realize the digitalization and interconnection of discrete data in the industry, and improve the overall industrial efficiency and value empowerment to a higher dimension. Over the past few years, Xinsi has been focusing on the layout of industrial digitalization, and put forward the concept of a new generation of EDA in 2020. It hopes that the chip industry can quickly join the transition track of digitalization and Internet through the future oriented new generation of EDA to collect data and aggregate value.
This is not only an exciting exploration process, but also a meaningful effort and attempt. At the beginning of the year, Xinsi Technology launched the industry’s first independent artificial intelligence application for chip design – dso AI has set off a new revolution in the field of chip design, making AI a production tool to give full play to its efficiency, deeply mining the value of massive data in each link, greatly improving the algorithm and performance of EDA, and raising the overall productivity of chip developers to a new level. In the middle of this year, we released the 3dic compiler platform, which provides solutions for heterogeneous system architecture through unified data structure, leads the arrival of the 3dic design era, and provides underlying technical support for the free flow of industrial data between heterogeneous systems. Near the end of the year, Xinsi launched a comprehensive data analysis driven solution “Silicon life cycle management (SLM) platform”, which innovatively proposed to digitize the needs and experiences of all aspects of the chip from design, production to final application, so that chip developers can better define the chip and improve chip innovation from the end application needs.
Through these efforts, we have been able to upgrade EDA technology into a data platform for the interconnection and ecology of the chip industry, so that data can be perceived, interactive, connected and traceable in the whole industrial chain, so as to integrate all participants in the industrial chain into the industrial Internet in the form of digitalization, provide acceleration for the overall iteration of the chip industry, and maximize the power of this hard technology in the transformation of the digital society.
