At present, due to the impact of classical swine fever, many breeding industries have been unprecedentedly affected. The soaring price of live pigs has also attracted the attention of many pig breeding industries. At present, China’s pig industry is gradually developing from the traditional workshop pig raising mode of farmers’ scattered breeding and pig professional households to an intensive and industrialized pig raising mode. How to manage efficiently and scientifically, we must have modern breeding technology and management information system as a strong technical guarantee to reduce costs and improve output. Taking RFID technology as the management means and computer LAN technology and database technology as the support, this paper constructs the business information platform framework of large-scale pig farms.
The development trend of pig raising enterprises is that the scale is larger and larger, the degree of intensification is higher and higher, so the management is more and more difficult. The use of computer technology can make the management of pig raising enterprises more scientific and accurate, and effectively improve the benefits of pig raising enterprises. RFID electronic ear tag is used for pig breeding, and an electronic identification system is established for real-time, dynamic and traceable information management. Once an epidemic occurs, the pollution chain can be determined in time, effective control and scientific decision-making can be carried out to minimize unnecessary losses. RFID technology used in pig breeding is not only to trace the source of the epidemic, but also to realize the automation of the feeding process, which has good economic benefits.
1、 Realize semi automation or full automation of data acquisition and recording
Each pig is hung with an electronic ear tag (passive RFID tag), and the breeder holds a reader to record the feeding, drug feeding, herd transfer and quarantine information into the electronic ear tag or read the data in the electronic ear tag, which is a semi-automatic way; Some measurements need to be fully automated. For example, sow estrus identification needs to automatically record the number, date and time of sows visiting boars.
2、 Establish a perfect pig individual identification file to realize pig feeding
The electronic ear tag of each pig has a unique electronic code, which can store information, record key data in the process of individual growth, and establish a perfect individual file. When deciding whether pigs can be sold, you only need to read the data in the electronic ear tag to prevent pigs from being sold during the drug suspension period, eliminate source pollution and realize the whole process tracking and tracing.
3、 To realize the automation of performance measurement of breeding pigs, and fine according to individual body condition
When the breeding pigs with electronic ear tags enter the automatic feeding station, the reader will automatically read the electronic ear tag code, and the weighing sensor will obtain the fasting weight, feed intake and feed duration of the breeding pigs. The obtained individual body condition data is transmitted to the background computer for processing. The processed data is used as the parameters of the evaluation and prediction model to optimize the diet feeding scheme and realize the fine feeding of breeding pigs.
With the continuous progress of various high-tech technologies, RFID technology for pig breeding is a very good trend. Intelligent and scientific breeding has become a hot spot. The maturity of RFID technology will vigorously promote the further development of automatic feeding in pig industry.
