With the advancement of industrial automation, the core PLC in the industrial control industry is used more and more, so we should also keep pace with the times and learn PLC. Today, I’ll tell you what we need to pay attention to in learning PLC. I hope you can avoid detours in the process of learning.
In fact, learning PLC does not have much requirements for the foundation, because the definition of PLC itself is designed to be convenient for everyone to use, such as modular structure and encapsulated ladder program. Learning these things is much easier than learning and developing boards from computer language, but we should also study with a serious attitude. After all, there is still a big gap between learning and learning well.
First of all, we should understand Mitsubishi FX series PLC, be able to operate Mitsubishi programming software, understand PLC working principle and various memory types, master basic programming knowledge, use basic instructions, master the use of timers and counters, and be able to write switching value control programs independently.
If you want to go further, you should learn the basis of digital circuit, number system and code system, hexadecimal conversion, basic logic circuit and logical bit operation; Then learn some basic knowledge of PLC model identification, PLC hardware structure, PLC installation, hardware wiring (power wiring, input wiring, output wiring) and so on.
After learning the hardware wiring of PLC, you should consolidate what you have learned before and carry out the actual hardware wiring practice with PLC, including the input wiring of passive signals and active signals, such as switches, buttons, limit switches, proximity switches, photoelectric switches, etc., as well as the control output wiring, such as indicator lights, buzzers, solenoid valves How should relays be wired.
Try to start with the basic wiring and lay the foundation firmly
After that, you can learn terms (pulse signal, sequence diagram, stack, nesting), bits and words, digital knowledge, addressing methods (direct addressing, immediate addressing, index addressing); Learn the programming components of PLC, i.e. soft components (x, y, m, s, t, C, D, V, z) and other components, the composition characteristics and programming rules of ladder diagram.
Because programming requires programming software to write programs, you also need to learn the installation and use of programming software, including gxddeveloper and gxworks2, the use of simulation software, the communication connection between PLC and programming software, the upload and download of programs, and some other software functions.
You can start learning through simple indicator light control and single button control program, and then gradually write case programs with certain difficulty. If you start, it is recommended that you combine theory with practice, connect your own wiring, program your own, and walk a whole set of processes, which is a complete learning.
Finally, give some PLC cases that are more suitable for everyone to learn, such as signal light / color light control, motor sequence control, trolley operation control, conveyor belt control, tool change of automatic processing machine tool, traffic light control system, automatic car cleaning machine, vehicle counting control in parking lot, automatic timing mixing control of mixer, automatic door control of warehouse Elevator control, etc. (if you need to learn the source program, you can confide in me). I hope you can make continuous progress on the road of growth.
