In order to identify air pollutants in the area, comprehensively improve the level of refined management, assist in the prevention and control of air pollution, and win the battle to defend the blue sky, in May last year, the Shangyu District Ecological Environment Branch and the Blue Sky Environment introduced drones to monitor the atmosphere. The air quality of the Bay Park carried out the first cruise operation to deepen the prevention and control of air pollution in the park.
UAV navigation monitoring equipment is the integration of UAVs with high-definition aerial photography probes, high-definition cameras, UAV airborne intelligent gas sensors and other equipment, with functions such as navigation, photography, and atmospheric monitoring. By using the drone technology to set the flight area and flight route, the monitoring and full coverage of pollutants such as soot, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, particulate matter, VOCs and other pollutants emitted by the pollutant discharge units in the set area are realized.
Through the drone flight inspection of PM2.5 and VOCs pollution sources in key areas, the point and surface coverage locks the pollution points, and the relevant technicians draw the pollution map according to the total concentration of the monitored pollutants, which can be reflected intuitively from the pollution map. The pollutant discharge situation of enterprises or specific areas was found out, and the key pollution areas were comprehensively and quickly identified. A total of 1.5km2 of the area was inspected on the day, and there were 6 enterprises.

The UAV airborne intelligent gas sensor can perform numerical monitoring on atmospheric projects such as PM2.5, PM10, SO2, H2S, NO2, CO, O3, TVOC, etc. Accurately and effectively understand the pollution sources in the grid, accurately lock the pollution sources, and help precise pollution control. Under the aerial lens of drones, the exhaust gas emissions of industrial parks and key polluting enterprises can be seen at a glance, realizing a breakthrough from plane inspection to three-dimensional inspection, which will greatly improve the quality and efficiency of environmental protection law enforcement.
