The project is expected to achieve an annual output value of more than 15 billion yuan.

The total investment of Kangning display technology project is about 160 million US dollars, and two 8.5 + glass substrate production lines are invested in Mianyang high tech Zone. According to the relevant personnel of Kangning science and technology, Kangning display plans to set up a wholly-owned company to operate the project in the new display industrial park of Mianyang high tech Zone. After the completion of the project, the chain of Mianyang new display industry will be more complete.
At the same time, in Guangzhou, 2000 km away, LGD began to move some of its equipment into the plant, making all-out efforts for the normal operation of Guangzhou’s 8.5-generation OLED plant. In addition to ensuring the production line manufacturing equipment, the company will also re invest R & D personnel from South Korea to Guangzhou to prepare for mass production. The Guangzhou plant, which started production last year, mainly produces 55, 65, and 77 inch large-size OLED panels. Although the yield of OLED panels was climbing in the early stage of production, it has recently recovered to normal through process improvement and component improvement. LGD said it was fully committed to ensure that the Guangzhou plant completed its mass production preparations in the first quarter.
It is understood that in 2019, there will be six panel production lines completed in China, and these production lines will gradually achieve full production in the first half of 2020. At present, the global TV prices have gradually stabilized and rebounded, the panel supply and demand pattern has been greatly improved, and the industry is ushering in a new round of upward boom cycle. In 2020, there will be at least two high generation TFT-LCD and two flexible OLED production lines in China, and China’s panel capacity will continue to maintain a high growth trend.
