On December 17, 2019, the leading semiconductor component distributor committed to the Asia Pacific market, Dalian United holdings, announced that its Quanding launched a TWS Bluetooth speaker design solution based on Qualcomm qcc3031.

Qcc3031 is an entry-level programmable Bluetooth audio SOC designed for optimized Bluetooth speakers. Based on a very low power architecture, Qualcomm aptx is supported ™ And aptx HD audio, and the TWS function can be turned on to output the sound of left and right channels to two qcc3031 Bluetooth speakers. Cooperate with Qualcomm’s unique controllable turn-on external 2.4 GHz transmit / receive RF chip to increase the output power, support the charging current design of up to 1.8A, and let music enjoy uninterrupted.

Qcc3031 adopts QFN package, which aims to provide users with a solution that helps to shorten development time and cost. In addition to the high-quality analog audio output interface, it also has programmable digital audio rich sound source output. In terms of input, in addition to wireless Bluetooth, it also supports wired input and USB sound source playback, and can be set to wire in, so that the way of listening to music is no longer limited.

In terms of hardware circuit design, in addition to the basic circuit of qcc3031, the digital I2S interface is designed, and the opening pin of external 2.4 GHz transmit / receive RF chip is reserved to achieve the design of wireless output high power. The three buttons not only meet the basic functions such as general on-off, pairing and loud and low sound, but also trigger TWS function and advanced function applications such as opening and switching Eq. The design of the three LEDs also allows users to know the status of the Bluetooth speaker at any time when using the Bluetooth speaker.

In terms of software, in addition to the music development environment (MDE) development environment, Qualcomm also has ADK configuration tool, which can be used for key triggering, I2S and TWS function setting, LED display and sound source output setting, and then cooperate with qcat to adjust the effects of CVC and music Eq.
