At present, in the field of Ophthalmology, most of the common diseases of the eye, such as diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataract and so on, artificial intelligence medical imaging interpretation can help initial screening and auxiliary diagnosis.

At present, there are hundreds of providers of commercial hospital information systems in mainland China, resulting in great differences in eye disease data structure and standards among hospitals. The quality of many clinical information collection is uneven. The standardization and standardization of artificial intelligence ophthalmic big data collection has also become a hot topic at the conference.

Wang Jiantao, President of Shenzhen ophthalmic hospital, said that artificial intelligence is the future development direction, but there is still a way to go for its application in ophthalmic clinic. In the next step, the collection of artificial intelligence ophthalmic large database should be standardized.
