According to the enterprise survey data, there are 16000 in-service and existing enterprises related to the “Agricultural Internet of things” in China. Among them, Guangdong Province, Jiangsu Province and Shandong Province have the largest number of registered enterprises, with 2794, 1379 and 1340 respectively.
As a new technology, agricultural Internet of things has broad application and development prospects. According to the enterprise survey data, the number of enterprises related to the Internet of things in agriculture has been growing in the past decade, with 2882 new enterprises in 2018 and 4155 in 2019, a year-on-year increase of 44.2%.
From January to April 2020, the number of registration of Agricultural Internet of things related enterprises in China is 2326, of which the number of registration in March and April increased significantly, with 749 in March and 1074 in April, up 43.4% on a month on month basis.
The number of patents published is increasing year by year, with 1448 at present
The Internet of things is not a technological fantasy, but another technological revolution. From the perspective of the distribution of enterprise registered capital, the registered capital of Agricultural Internet of things related enterprises is mainly distributed between 1 million and 30 million, among which the number of enterprises with registered capital between 1 million and 5 million is the largest, with a total of 5371 enterprises, accounting for 31%. The second is enterprises with registered capital of 10-30 million, accounting for 24%.
