According to the enterprise survey data, the number of enterprises related to the Internet of things in agriculture has been growing in the past decade, with 2882 new enterprises in 2018 and 4155 in 2019, a year-on-year increase of 44.2%.

From January to April 2020, the number of registration of Agricultural Internet of things related enterprises in China is 2326, of which the number of registration in March and April increased significantly, with 749 in March and 1074 in April, up 43.4% on a month on month basis.
