As the first Trans provincial power transmission and transformation project of Inner Mongolia power grid, the 6 million kW wind power transmission project in Ulanqab has officially become one of the two trans provincial and trans regional key projects included in the planning in the 2020 main grid planning opinions issued by the State Energy Administration on April 2.
It is reported that the 6 million kilowatt wind power base project in Ulanqab will be connected to Zhangbei UHV station through three 500 kV lines. The supporting power grid project can fully meet the needs of wind power projects in the base, and provide green and high-quality power support for the development of Beijing Tianjin Hebei region. It is the first Trans provincial power transmission and transformation project invested and constructed by Inner Mongolia power grid, which is of great significance to the transformation and upgrading of Inner Mongolia power grid.
At present, the 6 million kilowatt wind power base project in Ulanqab has been approved by the state and is planned to start this year.
In addition, in order to meet the new load power supply, optimize the regional power grid structure, and help the regional economic development, the two 500kV power transmission and transformation projects of Inner Mongolia power grid, Deyi and Yinghua, are also included in the national planning in this adjustment.
