Apt70 conducted its first autonomous flight test in August last year and its first out of sight flight test in July this year. The full name of apt is autonomous pod transport, which means independent cargo transportation. Bell company announced the apt project in 2018. In October 2018, bell signed a cooperation agreement with Daiwa transportation of Japan to jointly develop apt and develop commercial operation. It is planned to start commercial operation in 2025.
