Therefore, Nanchao IOT launched the zero code equipment management platform ruff IOT, which aims to help traditional enterprises realize rapid networking and efficient management of equipment digitization.

Step 1: realize standardized acquisition out of the box

For equipment networking, the first thing to be clear is what equipment brands and protocols can be supported by the core hardware gateway for data collection, and whether the gateway itself can be used out of the box more conveniently and efficiently in the process of use, which are the key to equipment data standardized collection.

In the sharing of Nanchao IOT, Zhang Suna took the rgwi5110 industrial gateway as an example to introduce how the gateway can be used out of the box when helping equipment networking. Firstly, the hardware parameters of the gateway are introduced. Rgwi5110 has rich external interfaces, including Ethernet, USB host, 485 / 232, can and other interfaces. Secondly, in terms of communication module, the gateway also supports 2G / 3G / 4G / WiFi / ZigBee and other communication protocols. Finally, in the bottom system software layer, the bottom layer of model 5110 is the Linux system, and the upper layer encapsulates the ruff OS Internet of things operating system, which can not only realize the secondary development of customers, but also efficiently help the out of the box use of the gateway.

In addition to the interface and communication module of the hardware itself, the equipment brand and protocol type supported by the gateway itself are also very important. At present, the more popular types of plant equipment in the market mainly include PLC / CNC and other equipment types. The brand manufacturers of PLC include dozens of brand models such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Panasonic, Delta and Rockwell, while rgwi5110 can realize the standardized collection of dozens of terminal equipment models, including mainstream communication protocols modbus, opc-ua and PROFINET.

Step 2: custom configuration and Kanban function

For some small and medium-sized factories, the networking of equipment is the foundation, and the visualization of equipment data is the core, that is, equipment data can be displayed and applied according to customer needs. Zhang Suna of Nanchao IOT cited a case of an actual customer. The customer is a factory engaged in aluminum material processing. Two years ago, the factory wanted to digitize the workshop, that is, digitally manage all the equipment in the four process workshops (extrusion, heat treatment, rod casting and surface treatment). The equipment types involved in the factory mainly include Siemens, Panasonic Mitsubishi and other models, and in terms of acquisition and reporting frequency, it needs to reach a high frequency of 1s each time.

At the beginning, the customer chose to use the supplier customized mode to make a set of software system, and experimentally connected 10 equipment data for display. With the continuous development of business and the increase of equipment data, the factory customers hope to add some configuration functions and Kanban data display, but they encounter difficulties in the specific implementation, that is, every small demand is changed, Suppliers need to modify from the source code level, and all modification permissions can only be operated by suppliers. Factory customers can only choose between being unable to use and continuously increasing development costs.


In view of this situation, South tide IOT shared the configuration design content of the equipment management platform, that is, using user-defined application tools to solve customer business changes and demand updates. In the system, custom application tools include functional components of custom configuration, custom Kanban and statistics and analysis. Through the rich components and gallery provided in the system, customers can realize custom visual application and restore the real layout of physical space only by dragging and configuring, without modification and deployment from the source code level.

Step 3: implement equipment health analysis
