RX651, as the control center of the ProMe series of heterogeneous SoMs, has a high performance of 520CoreMark running at 120MHz, which is more efficient than the ARM M4 core. At the same time, the RX651 has a huge storage space inside, so that the startup file of the Yilingsi FPGA can be directly put into the RX651, which saves the external storage space and can also perform encryption protection. In terms of power consumption, the standby current of the RX651 is only 3.3uA, and the startup speed can reach 0.6ms from standby to full-speed operation. The 4.5*4.5mm package also saves a lot of space, which is conducive to the smaller size of the ProMe series of heterogeneous SoMs.
GreenPAK brings full flexibility as a programmable analog and digital hybrid IC, allowing circuit customization in minutes to integrate the functionality of general-purpose discrete devices into its integrated chip. GreenPAK’s lowest quiescent current below 0.5uA and ultra-small package have obvious advantages in reducing the number of components on the board, saving PCB space and reducing product power consumption.
The clock generator used on the ProMe series has 3 channels, and Renesas supports up to 24 channels of clock output on one chip and configures multiple output types. In addition, with the development of 5G, the jitter of the clock generator is becoming more and more important. The jitter as low as 150fs ensures the accuracy of the system clock.
Yilingsi provides ultra-low power consumption and small size Trion series FPGA for ProMe series SoM. Trion series FPGA supports VCC selection of each bank voltage, and GPIO interface level is flexibly adapted. The clock also supports optional, you can choose to provide external PIN or onboard crystal oscillator. Trion series FPGAs reserve JTAG interface (support online Debug), 12 pairs of LVDS interfaces (8 pairs of TX and 12 pairs of RX) and 12 GPIOs (extended peripherals).

The biggest feature of Yilingsi series FPGA is power consumption. The traditional FPGA large particle unit constitutes complex switching switches and interface circuits. At the same time, the device requires 12-14 layers of metal layers for wiring, which consumes a lot of power. The architecture adopted by the Yilingsi series FPGA adopts small particle units, which simplifies the switching of switches and interfaces, and only requires 7 layers of metal layers for wiring. According to Yilingsi, the Yilingsi series FPGAs save more than half of the power consumption compared to the benchmark products. Ultra-low power consumption also brings more competitiveness to the ProMe series of SoMs.
