Lm3102 / – q1simpleswtcher synchronous rectifier buck converter has all the functions needed to achieve high efficiency, cost-effective buck regulator. The device can provide 2.5A current and output voltage as low as 0.8V for the load. Dual n-channel synchronous MOSFET switches can reduce the number of components, thus reducing the circuit complexity and minimizing the size of the circuit board.

The lm3102 / – Q1 is different from most other cot regulators in that it does not rely on the output capacitor ESR for stability and is designed to work perfectly with ceramic capacitors and other output capacitors with very low ESR. Without loop compensation, the device can provide fast load transient response and realize simple circuit. Due to the inverse relationship between the input voltage and the on-time, the operating frequency of the device remains almost constant when the line changes. Through external programming, the working frequency can be as high as 1MHz.

Protection functions include VCC undervoltage locking (UVLO), output overvoltage protection, thermal shutdown and gate driven UVLO. The lm3102 / – Q1 adopts heat-resistant enhanced htssop-20 package, while the lm3102 can also adopt chip size ball gate array (dsbga) thin chip level package to reduce the output current.
