1. Preheating

After the instrument is turned on, it will automatically be in the default photoelectric colorimetric transmittance measurement state. The instrument is preheated for 5-10 minutes for photoelectric colorimetric measurement and 5 minutes for pH value measurement.

2. Calibration of blank solution

① First, turn the left wheel of the filter, select the appropriate filter number according to different test items (according to the requirements of the manual), then put the blank solution in the light path, close the shading cover, and press the “color comparison” key to switch the function number to 1

② Press the “adjust +” key, the LCD display is 100.0

③ Press the “adjust -” key, and the LCD will display 100.0. If not, press this key again until 100.0 is displayed (until “e” disappears completely, then proceed to the next step).

3. Calibration of standard solution

Press the “color comparison” key to switch the function number to 3. Put the standard solution in the light path and close the shading cover. If the displayed value is greater than the standard value given in the manual, press the “adjust -” key; if the display value is less than the standard value, press the “adjust +” button until the display value is consistent with the standard value (during the operation, until “e” completely disappears, the next operation can be carried out).

4. Test the liquid to be tested

Put the solution to be tested in the light path and close the shading cover. At this time, the displayed value is the nutrient content in the sample (mg / kg, g / kg,%).

5. Light transmittance test (this operation can be carried out when the transmittance measurement is required)

Press the “color comparison” key to switch the function number to 1. Place the liquid to be tested in the light path, close the shading cover, and the stable value of the instrument is the light transmittance (× 100%).

6. Absorbance test (this operation can be carried out when the absorbance measurement is needed)

Press the “color comparison” key to switch the function number to 2. Place the solution to be tested in the light path, close the shading cover, and the value after the display is stable is the absorbance (a) of the solution to be measured.

During the above test, it is allowed to check whether the blank solution 100% (function number is switched to 1) and whether the standard solution changes, if so

It can be adjusted again (the light transmittance and absorbance can not be calibrated and measured in step 3 and step 4).

7. Temperature test (when it is necessary to know the test environment temperature)

Press the “temperature / pH” key to switch the function number to 4. The instrument automatically tests the working environment temperature and displays it in centigrade.

8. Storage and printing functions

If the measured sample data needs to be reserved for future printing, press the “store” key after the test.
