Facebook’s oculus quest header shows that the delivery date in the United States has been postponed. Now 64GB models are not shipped until early March, and 128GB models are not shipped until late February.
VR shipments began to increase after the busy holiday season, especially quest. The head display was sold out at retailers before Christmas, resulting in the delay of official orders to February, and the dealer price of Amazon has also increased by two to three times.
The latest update date is late December. The products ordered are estimated to be shipped in mid February. Now, the 64GB model sent to the United States will not be delivered until March 2. The 128GB model is shipped earlier and will be shipped on February 27, but it will cost an extra $100.
For countries outside the United States, the out of stock time seems to be shorter. The UK website said the headphones would be shipped on February 7 and Europe on January 28. Australia currently has no delay between ordering and delivery.
However, oculus quest is not the only popular head display on the market. After the release of half life: alyx, the popularity of valve index soared and could not be purchased in late December. Most index kits (head display only, controller only, controller only and head display) are currently sold out in stores in the United States and Canada, and the order button has been replaced with “replenishment soon”.
