Generally, a power supply voltage of about 20V to 30V and an H-bridge driver are required to drive the piezoelectric element. When driving with Li-ion battery or 5V power supply, additional boost circuit and H-bridge drive circuit have always been required.

When using the NJW4814 driver, only one monolithic IC is needed to fully drive the piezoelectric element, and the boost switching power supply and the H-bridge driver are integrated into the monolith, which is more convenient to use.

In addition, the NJW4814 has a built-in dual-channel H-bridge driver, so only one NJW4814 can drive two piezoelectric elements to achieve the zoom function and hand shake correction function of a digital camera at the same time. miniaturization.

The input frequency of the H-bridge driver can be up to 300kHz. High-speed operation mode is fully supported when piezoelectric elements need to be driven above 100kHz.

When the piezoelectric element works at high speed, the H-bridge circuit will increase the power consumption with the increase of the frequency. The use of NJW4814 products can solve this problem. Because the NJW4814 adopts the D-MOS structure of the BCD manufacturing process, it can complete high-speed operation under low on-resistance, thereby achieving low power consumption during high-speed operation.

  3. Cut off the reactive current flowing to the output voltage setting resistor during standby

The boost switching power supply consumes power due to reactive current flowing to the output voltage setting resistor even in the standby state.

NJW4814 can cut off the current line flowing to the output voltage setting resistor, so that it does not generate reactive current to consume power, so as to achieve low power consumption during standby.
