Ia8201 audio processor has recently started to send samples to customers. Ia8201 contains 1.44MB of memory, multiple interface options, and a dual 175 MHz core with voltage regulation. It is packaged in micro 2.6 x 3 mm ewlb and 6.0 x 6.0 mm QFN.

The low power consumption of dual core implementation provides the best combination of optimized instruction and industrial compatibility.

Ia8201 includes a high-performance 128 bit core (DMX) with Lou’s proprietary instruction set and a Tensilica hifi 3 core (HMD), both of which have Lou’s audio enhancement. DMX is a 4-way floating point single instruction multiple data processor, which aims to achieve high performance computing, while HMD adopts bidirectional floating point single instruction multiple data processor for high efficiency, low power consumption and voice wake-up applications. Both cores contain dedicated accelerators for FFT, peak seeking and DNN.

Ia8201 solution provides large capacity memory (1.4MB), suitable for specific application cases and single cycle access, low power architecture. Large memory can be used to store various keyword models, engines or other algorithms.
