1. Project description

An artistic lantern modeling demonstration board is shown in Figure 6. In the figure, a, B, C, D, e, F, G and H are eight lanterns in a circular distribution. The control requirements are as follows (the lighting sequence of lamps is):

Close the start switch K1 and the eight bulbs will be on at the same time, that is, abcdefgh will be on for 1 second at the same time; Then, the eight bulbs are on for 1 second in turn in the counterclockwise direction, that is, a is on for 1 second → B is on for 1 second → C is on for 1 second → D is on for 1 second → e is on for 1 second → f is on for 1 second → G is on for 1 second → h is on for 1 second; Next, the eight bulbs are on for 1 second at the same time, that is, abcdefgh is on for 1 second at the same time; Then, the eight bulbs are on for 1 second in turn in the clockwise direction, that is, h is on for 1 second → G is on for 1 second → f is on for 1 second → e is on for 1 second → D is on for 1 second → C is on for 1 second → B is on for 1 second → A is on for 1 second. Then repeat in this order. Press the stop switch K1 and all lights go out.

2.2 PLC wiring diagram

Connect the cable according to figure 7. Note that COM1 and com2 are connected because indicators with the same rated voltage are used. The input is connected to the start switch and stop switch.

2.3 program design

In Figure 8, when the PLC is running, M11 is on in steps 9 ~ 19 of the program. Since M11 dynamic closing contact is closed in steps 50 ~ 120 of the program, which controls the conduction of Y0 ~ Y7 respectively, the color lamp abcdefgh is on at the same time. Because t0 is delayed for 1 second, abcdefgh is on for 1 second at the same time. When 1 second is up, in step 40 of the program, t0 dynamic closing contact is closed, and the shift command is executed to realize lighting in turn, that is, abcdefgh is lit in turn. Because t0 is closed once in 1 second, the time interval of abcdefgh lighting in turn is 1 second. In procedure steps 20 ~ 29, when M20 is connected, set M101, match M101 dynamic contact with mi2 ~ M19 dynamic contact, and light H ~ A in turn, that is, h, G, F, e, D, C, B and a in turn every 1 second. In program steps 30 ~ 39, when M20 is connected, reset M101, and the M101 dynamic breaking contact is matched with the mi2 ~ M19 dynamic closing contact to illuminate a ~ h in series, that is, a, B, C, D, e, F, G and H are illuminated in turn every 1 second. Close the stop switch K2 at any time. In step 114, the interval reset command resets all M12 ~ M19, and all lights are off.

2.4 running and commissioning procedures

(1) Input the ladder program into the computer and check whether the power supply is correct.

(2) Debug and run the program.

a. After the PLC is powered on, set the PLC to run state, close K1, and observe the highlighting of a, B, C, D, e, F, G and H.

b. Close K2 and observe the highlighting of a, B, C, D, e, F, G and H.
