It is learned from China Electric Power Research Institute that the National Natural Science Foundation of China recently officially announced the nsfc-sgcc smart grid joint fund funded project in 2018. The key support project of “failure mechanism and active protection technology of primary and secondary integrated electrical signal intelligent measurement equipment under transient strong electromagnetic interference” declared by China electric power academy was successfully approved, which is the only leading key project approved by State Grid Corporation of China this year.

The project is led by China electric power academy and jointly applied by Huazhong University of science and technology and State Grid Shaanxi electric power company. Taking the urgent needs of the project as the background and complete test resources as the platform, the project has carried out the research on the coupling mechanism of transient strong electromagnetic disturbance, the failure mechanism analysis of intelligent measurement equipment, and the active protection method of intelligent measurement equipment The equivalent experimental method to deal with strong electromagnetic disturbance is studied to form an active protection method of primary and secondary fusion electrical signal intelligent measurement equipment under transient strong electromagnetic disturbance.

It is reported that the expected goal of the project is to establish a transient strong electromagnetic coupling model with ultra-fine spatial scale in large components, obtain the active protection method of transient strong electromagnetic disturbance for the damping morphological structure design of primary high voltage side, and put forward the evaluation method of intelligent measurement equipment for typical transient strong electromagnetic disturbance, so as to provide technical support for promoting the development of smart grid.
