The efr32mg21b of silabs is a gecko multi protocol wireless series SOC product, which combines 80MHz arm cortex-m33 and high-performance 2.4GHz radio. The integrated security library provides a highly secure and energy-efficient wireless system level chip (SOC) for the Internet of things (IOT). The device integrates 32-bit arm ® Cortex ® The maximum M33 core frequency is 80MHz, with 1024KB of hardware and 96kb of ram, 12 channels of peripheral reflection system coating, MCU peripherals can interact independently, integrated with 24 GHz power amplifier (PA) with transmission power up to 20dbm, 4×4 QFN encapsulated powerful peripheral set and equipped with 20 key GPIO. The phone has an excellent receiver: – 14.5dbm inspiration @ 250 kbps O-QPSK DSSS, – 97.5 DBM may @ 1 Mbit / s GFSK, – 94.4 DBM may @ 2 Mbit / s GFSK and – 104.9 DBM inspiration @ 125 kbps GFSK. The formats of some branches include GFSK and OQPSK. The supported protocols include Bluetooth low (Bluetooth 5), ZigBee and thread. The working voltage is 1.71v-3.8v and the working temperature is – 40C to 125C. The main applications include Internet of things multi protocol equipment, lighting, home connection, gateway and digital assistant, building automation and security. This paper introduces the main characteristics, all-in-one machine and details of efr32mg21b, as well as the main and circuit diagrams of efr32xg21 2.4 GHz 20 DBM wireless entry board, including brd4180b wireless board and wireless STK main board.

Efr32xg21 2.4 GHz 20 DBM wireless entry board

The wireless Starter Kit with brd4180b wireless board is familiar with efr32 ™ Wirelessgecko is a great starting point for wireless systems on chip. It also provides all the necessary tools for developing silicon labs wireless applications.

Brd4180b is the plug-in board of the wireless entry kit motherboard. It is a complete reference design of efr32xg21 Wireless SoC, with matching network and PCB antenna, and can provide 20 DBM output power in 2.4 GHz band.

The wireless Starter Kit motherboard contains an onboard j-link debugger with data packets

Efr32xg21 wireless gecko entry board (slwstk6006a)

The efr32xg21 wireless gecko Starter Kit (slwstk6006a) includes everything necessary to enable developers to create mesh networks and evaluate efr32xg21a with security elements and efr32xg21b with secure vault Series 2 wireless gecko SOC. The kit provides a common substrate with six xg21a modules (slwrb418xa). If you want to evaluate efr32xg21b, you must purchase xg21b module (slwrb4181c + 10 DBM) separately.
