From the data point of view, Huawei, oppo and vivo are approaching their loyalty.
In terms of the re purchase rate of hot selling series, the re purchase rates of mate series and P series of Huawei and their loyalty to the parent brand decreased slightly, the re purchase rate of glory digital series decreased slightly, and the re purchase rates of V series and changwan series were relatively stable; The repurchase rate of vivoy series is higher than that of X series, and the loyalty to the parent brand is basically the same; Oppor & Reno series has the highest repurchase rate of 27.3% and 39.8% loyalty to its parent brand; In 2020, the repurchase rate of Xiaomi digital series will increase to 20.8% on a month on month basis, but the loyalty to the parent brand will gradually decline. Specifically, when apple, Huawei, glory and Xiaomi users switch to 5g mobile phones, Huawei is the first choice, while oppo and vivo users switch to 5g mobile phones, the first choice is their own brand.
At present, the net recommendation value of all China Netcom terminals is 17.7%, and the satisfaction is 84.6%. Nona7pro5g, opporeno 4se5g and glory 30s ranked first, second and third among the models with high net recommendation value and satisfaction. In terms of brand channel optimism, Huawei ranked first with 88.7 points. In terms of consumers’ mental share, Huawei 40.0%, apple 16.9%, oppo 11.5%, vivo 10.5%, Xiaomi 9.6% and Samsung 6.0%.
The epidemic also has an impact on consumers’ purchase decisions, with a quarter of consumers and their families saying that their purchase decisions were affected by the epidemic. At the same time, the impact of the epidemic on the purchase budget of the middle and low-end groups is differentiated, and the proportion of the decrease and increase of the purchase budget is the same.
China Telecom also conducted a survey on users’ 5g usage and feedback. According to the report, consumers’ perception rate of 5g service has increased from 55.6% in 2019 to 70.9%, and 5g mobile phones have accelerated to be popularized at middle and low end prices, driving the overall net recommendation value of terminals to rise.
China Telecom evaluated 62 5g all China Netcom mobile phones of 14 brands, covering 83 indicators. In terms of 5g performance, the throughput performance of 5g mobile phones generally meets the commercial requirements, but more than 50% of the existing models have good point downlink rate lower than 860mbps and mid point downlink rate lower than 480mbps. It is suggested to optimize 5g modem and antenna performance and increase 5g Gigabit rate service radius.
In the Wi Fi performance test, Wi Fi of mobile phones supporting wi-fi6 has been significantly improved. Meanwhile, the throughput of wi-fi6 mobile phones in multi-user environment has been improved, and the 2-user mumimo gain can reach 1.4-1.8 times. “Wi-fi6 mobile phone experience has obvious advantages, and the industry chain should speed up the process of 5g mobile phone supporting wi-fi6,” Cheng said
Considering the performance of 5g, Wi Fi, GNSS, games and endurance, Huawei mate40pro, Huawei P40 glory 300 and glory 10x ranked first in four price segments respectively.
At the same time, China Telecom also evaluated the performance of 5g mobile phone SA. It is found that the average downlink rate of all models in the evaluation exceeds 900mbps, and the overall performance is mature and stable. It is suggested to further optimize the performance of EPS and fallback.
The performance of AI chips has been improved rapidly, and the products have become mature from the beginning. Among the 5nm chips, Kirin 9000 performs well in many aspects. Among the flagship chips, Hisilicon Kirin 990, MTK Tianji 1000 + and Qualcomm Xiaolong 865 perform well. It is found that the floating-point capability of the chip is still divergent in the test, so we should pay more attention to the optimization of energy efficiency, and strike a balance between the efficiency and function richness of SDK.
In the test, AI application voice assistant product is gradually mature, the success rate of wake-up is more than 90%, but the speech recognition performance in far field and low SNR needs to be optimized.
In the development of Pan intelligent terminals, 73.7% of consumers own pan intelligent terminals. The market penetration rate of Pan intelligent terminals continues to increase, but there is no aggregation effect of mobile phone brands.
China Telecom also tested the smart home router chip, and found that with the increase of the distance between the router and the terminal, the performance of 5g multi-user interference scenario of each chip platform decreased relatively greatly, and the difference of 5g multi-user limit performance of each chip platform was more prominent than that of 2.4G“ It is recommended that the chip platform of home wi-fi6 router support 160m in the future to further improve the throughput performance of 5gwi fi. ” Cheng Guifeng said.
