According to the information from China Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, at 12:47 on January 29, China successfully launched the 02 group of remote sensing 31 satellites in series with one arrow and three stars by using the long march 4C carrier rocket at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, and the satellite successfully entered the predetermined orbit.
This mission is the 359th flight of the long march series of launch vehicles. The 02 group of remote sensing 31 satellites are developed by the China Academy of space technology under the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, mainly for electromagnetic environment detection and related technical tests.
It is reported that the launch mission is carried out before the Spring Festival. The Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center still has frequent cold waves. The climate is unusually cold and the wind and sand are large, which brings great pressure to the test and launch work. In order to ensure the smooth launch of the rocket at the scheduled window, the test team cooperated closely with Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, fully optimized the support capacity of tower facilities and equipment through multiple rounds of analysis and coordination, and took multiple measures to ensure the smooth development of the launch mission.
2021 will be another peak year of space launch for Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, of which the most remarkable is the implementation of two manned space missions of China’s space station project – Shenzhou 12 manned spacecraft and Shenzhou 13 manned spacecraft. At present, the Shenzhou 12 and Shenzhou 13 spacecraft and the long march 2F carrier rocket for launch are undergoing final assembly tests, and various maintenance and testing work at the manned space launch site is also proceeding in an orderly manner.
