Israel ra’anana – May 25, 2021 – celeno communications, a leading provider of intelligent and innovative Wi Fi solutions, will launch its first single-chip solution for client devices, which combines Wi Fi 6 / 6e and BT / ble (Bluetooth) ®/ Low power Bluetooth ®） 5.2 and celeno new Wi Fi Doppler radar technology.
Celeno’s new cl6000 “Denali” product series provides connectivity and sensing solutions for consumer multimedia devices, IOT terminals, home automation, industrial automation, healthcare applications and other types of devices. These new chip products use the latest Wi Fi 6 / 6e standard to realize cloud connection, and support audio stream and device activation through BT and ble 5.2 standards, as well as create valuable sensing data through its Doppler radar function, and then use the sensing function to enhance edge artificial intelligence (AI).
The product family supports both Wi Fi 6 and Wi Fi 6e standards, and has the most advanced performance, providing excellent delay performance and strong connectivity even in the most crowded Wi Fi deployment environment. These technologies include high bandwidth 160MHz channel, recently approved 6-7ghz band, mu-ofdma, MU-MIMO, beamforming, 1024qam, WPA3 encryption, and target wake time (TWT) to reduce device power consumption more effectively.
Cl6000 product family supports Wi Fi connection and Doppler radar’s real synchronous operation. Doppler radar is a high-resolution sensor technology based on Wi Fi, which makes use of Doppler effect and standard Wi Fi data packet.
Doppler radar technology can use a single Wi Fi device to track the position of the target object, or sense the existence or motion characteristics of the object, without the assistance of multiple devices or other Wi Fi clients. Using standard Wi Fi, the solution operates in 5GHz and 6GHz frequency bands and can “see through” the wall without direct line of sight and / or depending on lighting conditions. In addition, the technology does not rely on any Wi Fi client, any type of wearable device, nor does it violate privacy.
Cl6020 / 10 chip products can provide high-speed Wi Fi and BT / ble connections for smart TV and smart speakers to realize cloud connection and video sharing applications.
Cl6025 chip products can be used to add sensing functions for multimedia devices, such as identifying the presence of people near the device, and even counting the number of TV viewers, so as to promote various operations and commercial applications.
Cl6020 / 10 chip products can realize the functional connection of Internet of things in sensors and cameras, thus promoting the application of cloud based security, security and predictive maintenance in intelligent buildings and factories.
