Or start the engine and run at idle speed. Unplug the pipe connected to the oil tank. 1) . preheat the engine to normal temperature and allow it to idle.

2) . pull off the vacuum hose on the vapor recovery tank and check whether there is vacuum suction in the hose. There is no vacuum suction in the vacuum hose. At this time, the solenoid valve is closed when the engine is idling. At this time, if the fuel evaporation control system is normal and there is vacuum suction in the vacuum hose, check whether there is voltage on the terminal 1 of the solenoid valve connector with the voltage range of 20V of the multimeter. At this time, the solenoid valve should be opened and the voltage is the battery voltage.

3) Step down the accelerator pedal and check whether there is vacuum attraction in the above vacuum hose when the engine speed is greater than 2000r / min. If there is vacuum suction in the vacuum hose, the system works normally; If there is no vacuum suction in the vacuum hose, check whether there is voltage on the terminal 1 of the solenoid valve harness connector with the voltage range of 20V of the multimeter. If the voltage is normal, it indicates that the solenoid valve is faulty. If the voltage is abnormal, it indicates that the control circuit is faulty.

Single piece detection method of solenoid valve

1) Check the resistance of the solenoid coil of the solenoid valve.

Unplug the solenoid valve harness connector and measure the resistance of the solenoid valve coil with a multimeter. The resistance value meets the requirements, and the resistance value is about 32 Ω, indicating that the solenoid valve of the activated carbon canister is not faulty.

2) Check the operation of the solenoid valve.

Remove the solenoid valve, first blow air into the solenoid valve, and the solenoid valve will not be ventilated; Then apply the battery voltage to the two terminals of the solenoid valve connector and blow air into the solenoid valve at the same time. At this time, the solenoid valve should be ventilated.

3) Leak detection:

When there is no electrical signal, the solenoid valve should be closed. Unplug the connecting hose of the solenoid valve of the activated carbon canister, connect the solenoid valve plug, enter the final control diagnosis, select the solenoid valve N80 of the activated carbon canister, aim at the air inlet of the solenoid valve, and check whether the opening and closing of the valve are good.
