The price of battery packs is not included in the sales invoice price of motor vehicles. Baas users can choose to rent battery packs with different capacities according to their actual needs, and pay the service fee monthly. Like battery buyers, baas users can enjoy Weilai’s power replacement service and battery upgrade service, and can obtain the support of national new energy vehicle purchase subsidy and purchase tax exemption policy.

According to its new charging mode for power exchange, the rights and interests of free power exchange will remain unchanged for users who pay Dading and have collected their cars before October 11, 2020 (inclusive). In the Weilai power exchange system, the first car owner who drives to the power exchange station can enjoy the lifelong free national power exchange service. All over the country, there is no limit to distance, no limit to frequency, no limit to power stations. Users who pay Dading from October 12, 2020 will have their free power exchange rights adjusted: users who give up exclusive stake rights will have their free power exchange rights for the first six times a month. Users who reserve the rights and interests of free exclusive stake: only charge electricity fee for the first six times of each month, free of service fee. Starting from the 7th power change service, a full charge will be charged for the power change. How to implement the power exchange mode in China

In the short term, it is difficult to unify the platforms of different automobile enterprises. The main body of the platforms made by various automobile enterprises is around charging. Once the power exchange is considered, a lot of changes will be made in the whole structure and electrical design. How to make each automobile enterprise provide products with the same size, electrical connection and even communication? This kind of uniformity is difficult to be promoted in the short term The standardization of information technology. It can be predicted that this round of new power exchange campaign launched by the whole vehicle enterprises will go their own way.

It is difficult to control the cost of a single battery in a whole power station when the power exchange network is not compatible. There is also a certain waste of resources, especially the batteries of different car companies can not be exchanged, which will increase the operation efficiency between the power exchange station and the charging network.

For users, take Weilai as an example, the battery staging scheme has great limitations. Once users choose this scheme, the remaining part of the vehicle can only be paid in full after deducting the battery price, and can no longer be staged.

Some users still think that baas mode charges are on the high side. In contrast, the battery installment plan needs to pay 100000 yuan for the battery, and after the five-year installment, the battery belongs to the user; in baas mode, the battery is only worth 70000 yuan, which is equivalent to 30000 yuan for the car price without battery, and the five-year rent is 63600 yuan, which needs to pay 93600 yuan in total, but the battery does not belong to the user in the end

For the use of vehicles, some users are also worried that the vehicles purchased in baas mode are difficult to sell as second-hand cars. Second hand electric vehicles without batteries are difficult to sell to second-hand car dealers. They can only be sold to the official channel of Weilai, and the only recycler is pricing. The seller will be at a disadvantage in sales.

Many enterprises began to lay out the field of power exchange

The car companies for the power mode, not just stay in the wait-and-see state. Weilai official said that more than 50 power stations will be built in 2020. The replacement power station is the core infrastructure supporting Weilai’s “rechargeable, replaceable and upgradeable” strategy.
