According to Brazil’s economic value news, Carlos baigorri, consultant of Brazil’s National Telecommunications Bureau (Anatel), did not mention the restrictions on Huawei in his report on 5g spectrum auction rules. In other words, Brazilian regulators will not restrict Huawei in 5g auctions. At present, the summary of the report has been submitted to f á bio Faria, Minister of communications of Brazil.

Brazilian regulators will not restrict Huawei in 5g auctions

Some analysts said that Huawei has advantages in 5g equipment price, and China is Brazil’s largest partner. If Brazil wants to exclude Huawei from 5g construction, it will face heavy resistance from all walks of life in Brazil. Brazilian vice president Milton Moran said last month that Huawei and other Chinese enterprises can participate in Brazil’s 5g construction, but on the premise of respecting Brazil’s national sovereignty, ensuring data transmission security and equipment economy.

This is good news for Huawei, but Huawei is still excluded in Sweden. According to relevant reports, the Swedish Supreme Court recently rejected Huawei’s lawsuit against the Swedish postal and Telecommunications Administration (PTS) for issuing a 5g network construction ban on Huawei and ZTE. According to the relevant provisions of PTS, companies participating in the spectrum auction shall not use the equipment and technology of Huawei and ZTE, and shall ensure that the equipment of Huawei and ZTE will be removed before January 1, 2025.
