On March 1, BAIC Blue Valley announced that the joint brand model arcfox HBT launched by BAIC Blue Valley and Huawei, and its first product arcfox extreme fox α shbt, is planned to appear in Shanghai auto show in April this year. The suffix of HBT stands for “Huawei & bjev together”.
According to reports, the extreme fox α shbt model will adopt Huawei’s three laser radar loading configuration scheme, which will be equipped with three 96 line vehicle specification level Aurora radars, 12 cameras, 13 ultrasonic radars, as well as Huawei chips with computing power up to 352tops, forming an automatic driving solution above L3 level.
HBT, which is equipped with three Huawei lidars, can not only deal with the scene applications such as gantry, tunnel scene, underpants scene and near end protrusion, but also quickly judge the scenes such as express brother motorcycles and pedestrians crossing the road.
At present, Huawei has three kinds of lidar configuration schemes, including single, two and three lidars. The most advanced three lidar carrying scheme of Huawei is adopted by HBT, which can realize 300 degree viewing angle.
It is understood that the cooperation between BAIC new energy and Huawei started in 2017. From 2018 to 2019, the company continued to upgrade its cooperation content and mode with Huawei.
At the same time, BAIC arcfox α t is also equipped with Huawei’s new generation mh50005g chip, which is an electric vehicle to realize the new generation 5g intelligent technology in China.
