In the early days, the function of electronic police was single, and the image quality and intelligent level were very low. Traditional electronic police cameras mainly take illegal photos in urban roads, intersections and other areas, covering a range of about 30 meters, and the required speed is relatively low. When the speed is high, it is difficult to capture traffic violations.
Since then, the e-police system has been mature and developed. After several iterations and upgrades, the application of e-police system has gradually matured. At present, the common electronic police system in the market is mainly composed of bayonet, electric police, illegal stop racket machine, etc.
Through AI front-end acquisition equipment, the system captures uncivilized traffic behaviors, such as motor vehicles running red lights, speeding, adding traffic jams, changing lanes, stopping at will, running forbidden, not driving according to regulations; drivers not wearing seat belts, driving on the phone to see mobile phones; non motor vehicles driving into the motorway, running red lights, retrograde; pedestrians running red lights and other illegal behaviors.

In June 2020, at the 2020 Alibaba cloud summit, Alibaba cloud launched “city brain 3.0” again.
In addition to Ali, many domestic enterprises with leading technology have launched their own “traffic brain”.
In December 2018, “Jinan traffic brain” was officially launched. The core of “Jinan traffic brain” is “one cloud and four centers”. Among them, “one cloud” is the exclusive traffic cloud, which is the data warehouse and computing basis of the whole traffic brain. It collects government data (checkpoint, two passengers and one danger, muck truck, bus, etc.), Internet data and other kinds of data as the basic data of traffic brain. The four centers are composed of perception center, analysis center, decision center and evaluation center.
By July 2019, “Jinan traffic brain” has integrated the data of 380000 floating cars, more than 20000 parking spaces and 80000 shared bicycles in the city, more than 2800 high-definition video surveillance, 50 eagle eye panoramic surveillance, more than 1200 signalers, 560 geomagnetics, 108 guidance screens and other traffic equipment and facilities, as well as real-time positioning information of police vehicles and police forces, and has collected vehicle information every day 18 million vehicles.
Jinan “traffic brain” is organized by Jinan traffic police detachment. Shandong University is responsible for the top-level design. Didi travel, as the main development unit, is jointly implemented by several units, such as Century Express, Inspur Group, Hisense and ISA.

In August 2019, iFLYTEK launched the “traffic Super Brain” based on iFLYTEK’s speech recognition, speech synthesis, semantic understanding and other artificial intelligence technologies, which has been successfully applied in Hefei.
